After several years of searching for a present and clear sound, it was through study and master's research that the answers were answered. Thanks to this, much of this knowledge acquired and successfully acquired is passed on to my students and many obtain good and great evolutions. It is a great satisfaction to see, after almost 20 years after the publication of my book “The Embochure in the Transverse Flute - how to understand and dominate”, the results that are achieved after a dedicated and determined study. Studying every day is the key to success. I repeat here a phrase from a student who marked me for simplicity and for being very true:
"I am still calling the Flute your lordship, but soon, I will call you!"
Thus, with the daily study, the discovery and the solution of the problems of the mouth will be solved with time.

This work deals with an evaluation of the necessary process for sound production, through the mouth, in the transverse flute.
It aims to provide useful and important information for a better knowledge and mastery of this musical instrument, which are not fully found in teaching methods.
It speaks of the embouchure from a structural point of view, of sound emission as a physical-acoustic process and of its influences on timbre and dynamics.
It argues and reflects on the strategies adopted to prepare and warm up the mouthpiece as quickly as possible, before performances, as well as its division or duplication to play another instrument.
